100% natural honey
Our honey is unique in color, aroma, texture and flavor, because it is collected from native forests on the Chilean coast, free of contaminating agents.
We make sure that each drop of honey maintains all its original nutritional and organoleptic properties intact, minimizing handling, taking the honey from the hives to the container directly.
We do not mix the harvests, with this we maintain the identity of each honey extraction.
We do not filter, we use the natural decantation process, which separates the impurities from the honey.
We do not pasteurize, our honey is raw and without heat treatments that alter its characteristics original
One of the greatest differentiating values of our honey is the rich supply of nectar from native flowers.
Our multifloral honey is mainly made up of the following species:
- Quillay
- Corontillo
- Zarzamora
- Diente de León
- Peumo
- Flor de pradera
- Tebo
- Maqui
- Maiten
- Tralhuen
The geography of the coastal dry land and its climate is not conducive to agro-industry, which is why sheep farming is mainly developed.
This avoids the exposure of bees and honey to agrochemicals.
Since 2015, at MundoMiel we have responded to our commitment to the preservation and care of bees, through our small-scale artisanal agroecological production system. This allows us to guarantee the production of premium quality honey each season.
Located in the Litueche commune, in the dry coastal region of O'Higgins, we have perfected our beekeeping practices, adopting organic and sustainable methods, managing to obtain a product unique and 100% natural. As a family of beekeepers motivated by love and respect for the place where we live, we set ourselves the mission of caring for bees and preserving their natural habitat through: education on the importance of pollinators and sustainable practices , the creation of an eco-park based on the regeneration of the land, reforestation of native forests and wetlands conducive to the development of biodiversity.
